Lister Radio at Aston Day 2010

Lister Radio provided the PA and music at the Aston Fun Day on 4th July.

We were once again blessed with good weather, some great entertainment and a celebrity to open and close the event - Chas of 'Chas n Dave' fame

Lister Radio at Stevenage Day 2010

Yet again the sun shone over the King George V Playing Fields for Stevenage Day 2010, where Lister Radio entertained with some great music, a dance group and as ever the chance to win a bike for a £1. Pictured below is Steve Laurence, LR Chairman, with the winner of this year's bike. Not only did he get the highest score of 46/54 but also recorded the lowest score of 16. Admirably he donated the prize of 4 cinema tickets, courtesy of Cineworld, to this year's runner-up.

It was an honour and pleasure to have our new studio opened by Anne and Chris Blackman, parents of Ellie on Saturday 29th November 2008.

The new studio is named "The Ellie Blackman Studio" in tribute to our friend and colleague who was taken so young.
